The system may be complex. Kyle’s next step should be simple.
Kyle chooses one real use difficulty and turns it into a small visible prototype, interface, object, card, mockup or usage guide that another person can understand and try once.
One real use difficulty + one visible design + one person tries one action + one improvement + one photo / video / page + one Handoff note
These are not new tasks to finish. They show Kyle’s useful design language and possible starting points.
| Day | Action | Success |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 — Choose
Choose one real use difficulty and draw the before-use situation. | Kyle can explain what is difficult: see, hold, start, understand, or feel feedback. |
| Day 2 — Create
Use paper, Figma, Procreate, Rhino, SolidWorks, photo markup or any easy tool to propose two simple ideas. | There are two visible options. |
| Day 3 — Check
Choose one idea and make a low-fidelity mockup, interface, card, object or guide. | One person can see what it is for. |
| Day 4 — Connect
Ask one person to complete one action with it and observe what is easier or still inconvenient. | One useful part or one inconvenient part is recorded. |
| Day 5 — Continue
Improve one detail, take photos or a short video, and write one-page usage note. | The next person can understand and continue the design. |
AI+HK Personal Capability Kit Human-centered Prototype R0.1 A small design that helps a user: 1. see something more clearly; 2. hold or position something more easily; 3. start one action faster; 4. feel feedback more clearly; 5. understand what to do next.
This can be a paper prototype, Figma mockup, Procreate sketch, Rhino / SolidWorks concept, laser-cut idea, simple HTML interface, cardboard model, photo prototype or one-page guide.

Today I Made 我今天做了什么?
Today I Made: A simple haptic-feedback concept card for an elderly hearing-aid interaction. Today I Tried: A classmate understood the idea, but the feedback timing was unclear. Next Step: Add a 3-step use scenario: notice → feedback → user action.
1. Can another person understand what it is? 2. Can the person pick it up, open it, view it or start it? 3. Can the person complete one action? 4. Is one part easier than before? 5. Is one part still inconvenient? 6. Can the design be photographed, recorded or shown in Runtime? 7. Is there a clear next improvement? 8. Is there no unsafe battery, 220V, medical claim or unsupported safety claim?
1. One real use difficulty 2. One before-use sketch or photo 3. Two simple ideas 4. One prototype, mockup, UI screen, object or guide 5. One user try 6. One improvement 7. One photo / video / page 8. One usage note 9. One Handoff note
Final target: I made one design easier to use. Someone tried it. I improved one detail. It is in the Runtime. The next person knows how to continue.
